Kimberbell The Stitching Hour - Two Day Event


At Kimberbell’s two-day machine embroidery event, you’ll make three feature projects and five fa-boo-lous ornaments for the included tabletop tree. Stitch the Haunted House Gift Card Holder on Pink Plaid Leather, then make a Monster Stash Zipper Pouch with a striped zipper “scar!” The Batty Candy Wrap holds your favorite treat with black Micro Velvet and foldable wings, while Booella, Twinklewing, Sadie Spider, Pumpkin Petals, and Boo-tiful Stitches are charming additions to the light-up tree.

Kimberbell Events include an exclusive sewing bag filled with Kimberbell fabric, Paper Tape, Kimberbellishments, and more. These will be used to make the projects.

Be sure to bring your sewing machine, embroidery hoops, and don't forget the manual, power cord and foot pedal.

Class Registration & Policies

Your place in class is reserved once payment has been received.

Class fees are refundable up to seven (7) days prior to the start of class, minus the cost of any book, pattern, CD, or other materials received as part of the class fee. Refunds for class cancellations are issued as store credit. No refunds or store credits will be issued for cancellations made less than seven (7) days before class begins.

It is the customer’s responsibility to keep track of their class registrations. If you register more than once for the same class or event, please notify us prior to the class date. Eligible duplicate registrations, accompanied by a receipt, will be issued as store credit only. No refunds or store credits will be issued after the class date, or without a receipt.

Please note: Classes are intended for adults and are not open to students under the age of 18.

Prickly Pearadise Quilts reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. If a class is canceled, students will receive a full refund or may transfer to another session, if available.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Confident Beginner. Please have a working knowledge of your embroidery machine.
Materials Included: Event kit includes supplies to make all three projects
Requirements: Embroidery machine in good working order, with at lease a 6x10 hoop
Instructor: -Heather
Instructor Bio: Heather has been passionate about sewing since she was 11 years old, finding joy in creating quick and useful projects. A few years ago, she discovered machine embroidery and quickly fell in love with it. Heather loves sharing her joy of sewing and takes great pleasure in teaching new skills to others.
