Hyperion Block of the Month


 

This class is designed exclusively for participants enrolled in the Hyperion Block of the Month subscription. If you’re signed up for the BOM, this monthly class is your opportunity to sew alongside others, ask questions, and stay on track as your quilt comes together.

Designed by Leslie Ryan of Blooming Boldly Designs and featuring the rich, bold colors of Riley Blake Expressions Batiks and Polka Pop Elementals, Hyperion blends classic quilt blocks with a fresh, modern layout. Over the course of 7 months, you’ll create a stunning quilt featuring stars, flying geese, and log cabin–inspired elements that build in skill and visual impact as the quilt grows.

One of the highlights of the Hyperion design is that by month three, the quilt center is already assembled — a motivating milestone that keeps the momentum going. The finished quilt measures approximately 64.5” x 76.5”, making it a beautiful throw-size quilt perfect for display or everyday use.

This class is intended for confident beginners and beyond who are comfortable with basic piecing. Each session provides guided instruction, helpful tips, and a supportive group environment to help you successfully complete each month’s block.

Be sure to bring  your sewing machine, and don't forget the manual, power cord and foot pedal. 

You are welcome to bring your lunch.

Class Registration & Policies

Your place in class is reserved once payment has been received.

Class fees are refundable up to seven (7) days prior to the start of class, minus the cost of any book, pattern, CD, or other materials received as part of the class fee. Refunds for class cancellations are issued as store credit. No refunds or store credits will be issued for cancellations made less than seven (7) days before class begins.

It is the customer’s responsibility to keep track of their class registrations. If you register more than once for the same class or event, please notify us prior to the class date. Eligible duplicate registrations, accompanied by a receipt, will be issued as store credit only. No refunds or store credits will be issued after the class date, or without a receipt.

Please note: Classes are intended for adults and are not open to students under the age of 18.

Prickly Pearadise Quilts reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. If a class is canceled, students will receive a full refund or may transfer to another session, if available.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: This class is intended for confident beginners and beyond. Anyone who has some experience piecing.
Requirements: Hyperion Block of the Month fabric kit subscription is required
Instructor: -Heather
Instructor Bio: Heather has been passionate about sewing since she was 11 years old, finding joy in creating quick and useful projects. A few years ago, she discovered machine embroidery and quickly fell in love with it. Heather loves sharing her joy of sewing and takes great pleasure in teaching new skills to others.
